Transforming Logistics with Maersk Customs Service

Maersk Customs Service is at the forefront of the logistics industry's transformation journey. As a Customs Process Administrator, you will play a vital role in managing customs clearance processes, ensuring compliance with international regulations, and providing administrative support to the customs operations team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute customs clearance processes, including import and export, movement, storage, or transit of goods across borders.
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, document management, and communication with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with international customs laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Work independently, applying standards, and deviating from established processes to solve problems.
  • Build and maintain knowledge of standardized work procedures and methods, general facts, and information.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience with customs procedures is an advantage, but we welcome applications from graduates and entry-level employees.
  • Strong motivation and enthusiasm for working in customs clearance and logistics.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex data sets.
  • MS Office skills and the ability to quickly adapt to customs software.
  • Good communication skills in German and English (written and oral).
