Senior Enterprise Architecture Specialist

Valneva is a leading specialty vaccine enterprise dedicated to the development, production, and commercialization of preventive vaccines targeting infectious diseases with significant unmet medical needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the establishment and execution of a customized Enterprise Architecture Management framework within the Global IT Division.
  • Translate business needs into comprehensive technical specifications.
  • Design and document system architecture utilizing the TOGAF framework to ensure optimal scalability and performance.
  • Maintain thorough and current documentation for system architecture, design choices, and implementation specifics.
  • Create architecture diagrams, flowcharts, and other visual representations for effective communication.
  • Assess and recommend technologies, platforms, and tools that align with the organization’s strategic objectives.
  • Develop and communicate a technology roadmap that outlines the evolution of the enterprise architecture.
  • Design solutions that facilitate seamless integration and interoperability across various systems and business units.
  • Ensure that the enterprise architecture accommodates both current and future integration needs.
  • Identify and prioritize technology investments that align with business goals.
  • Provide guidance and support throughout the development and implementation phases.
  • Identify and mitigate technology-related risks through the implementation of appropriate strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in system architecture.
  • Stay updated on relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards affecting the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a System Architect or in a comparable role.
  • Experience in establishing and implementing Enterprise Architecture processes.
  • Proficient in the TOGAF framework.
  • Comprehensive understanding of system architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms and virtualization technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with various departments and external vendors.
  • Robust cross-functional understanding within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Proven facilitation and problem-solving skills, even in remote environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and vendors within a multinational context.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.

In compliance with legal requirements, we disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is €66,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. However, our salaries are competitive and aligned with your qualifications and experience.
