Funding Strategist

**Job Description**

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Manager Funding to join our Power and Sensor Systems Division (PSS). The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing our cutting-edge technologies by securing funding for groundbreaking collaborative R&D projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a comparable field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. In-depth knowledge of European funding mechanisms and cooperation networks is essential for this role.

Main Responsibilities:

• Driving Innovation: Secure funding for groundbreaking collaborative R&D projects that advance our cutting-edge technologies.
• Strategic Project Management: Coordinate and guide projects on strategic topics internationally, ensuring alignment with the broader industry landscape.
• Funding Planning: Chart the course for strategic funding planning within PSS, fostering collaboration that leads to groundbreaking discoveries.
• Global Presence: Present funding projects on international stages, solidifying our position as a global innovation leader.
• Financial Acumen: Exercise meticulous control over ongoing funding projects in collaboration with the Finance team, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a comparable field.
• Completed technical studies at least at the master's level, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
• Capability of identifying current scientific trends in industrial research.
• In-depth knowledge of European funding mechanisms and cooperation networks.
• Proven leadership skills for effectively managing cross-company research projects.
• Team-oriented working style and motivation for joining our high-performance PSS funding team.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and German.
