We are a leading travel company in the industry, dedicated to delivering exceptional travel experiences to customers worldwide. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our customer service team in Malta.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a German-Speaking Customer Service Representative to support our German-speaking customers with their travel arrangements, address their inquiries, and ensure they have a smooth and pleasant travel experience. As a key member of our customer service team, you will help uphold our high service standards and contribute to overall customer satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Support: Handle inquiries from German-speaking clients via phone, email, and live chat, providing assistance with travel bookings, modifications, cancellations, and general questions.
  • Expert Advice: Offer knowledgeable guidance on destinations, travel options, and services to help customers plan and book their ideal trips.
  • Problem Resolution: Address customer complaints and resolve issues with professionalism, ensuring a positive outcome.
  • Booking Assistance: Assist customers with the booking process, making adjustments or cancellations as needed, while ensuring all information is accurately updated in the system.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest travel trends, promotions, and company offerings to provide accurate, up-to-date information to customers.
  • Follow-Up: Contact customers after their bookings to ensure they are satisfied with their travel arrangements and address any additional needs.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with other teams, such as sales and operations, to resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions within our CRM system for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all customer interactions comply with company policies and relevant regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Language Skills: Full proficiency in both spoken and written German is essential. A strong command of English (B2 level or higher) is also required.
  • Communication Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to customers.
  • Customer-Oriented: A dedication to providing outstanding customer service with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
  • Professionalism: Ability to manage challenging situations with calmness, patience, and empathy.
  • Technical Competency: Comfortable working with computer systems and able to quickly learn new software and tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail to ensure accuracy in bookings and customer data.
  • Experience: Prior experience in customer service, call centers, or the travel industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Relocation Willingness: Openness to relocating to Malta if living abroad. We provide a relocation package to support the move.
  • On-Site Availability: Must be based in Malta and available to work on-site full-time.
