Insurance Mathematician with Solvency II Expertise

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Actuary who can bring their expertise in Solvency II regulations to our team. If you have a strong background in insurance mathematics and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
**Responsibilities and Requirements**- Contributing to the Actuarial function of Vienna Insurance Group in the fulfillment of its tasks
- Establishing technical provisions and capital requirements under Solvency II
- Analyzing and interpreting insurance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting the development of technical provisions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive actuarial insights and support for operations
- Supporting VIG insurance companies in regulatory actuarial tasks
- University degree in mathematics or similar
- At least 3 years of professional experience in life or non-life insurance mathematics
- Good understanding of Solvency II regulations and basic knowledge of IFRS standards
- Advanced Excel skills, experience with Prophet or ResQ is an advantage
- Structured, independent, and detail-oriented approach to work
- Strong communication abilities and pleasure of collaborating in an international team
- Very good English skills (spoken and written), good command of German is an advantage
