We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Planning and Design
    • Develop and document comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
    • Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design test coverage plans.
  • Test Execution
    • Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
    • Execute automated and manual test cases, analyze results, and report defects in a clear and concise manner.
    • Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing.
  • Defect Management
    • Log defects in the defect tracking system with detailed information and steps to reproduce.
    • Track defects and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product functionality and requirements.
    • Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and project team meetings.
    • Provide timely and accurate updates on testing progress, issues, and risks.
  • Test Automation
    • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
    • Continuously improve and optimize test automation scripts and processes.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Ensure adherence to QA standards and procedures.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
    • Proven experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
    • Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
    • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) is a plus.
    • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).
