About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our agile software development team at Genetec. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative cloud-based work management solution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute manual and automation test cases for web and mobile apps
  • Analyze and identify presence of any issue or defect in system and assist developers in the validation and resolving of issues and defects
  • Perform functional, regression and exploratory testing
  • Proactively raise potential issues and problems and bring them to the attention of the team
  • Participate and contribute in feature plannings
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in software quality assurance in an agile environment
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of QA processes, familiar with test case management tools, API testing tools and basic SQL knowledge
  • Good programming skills (JavaScript or Typescript) and experience with any automation framework (e.g. Cypress, Playwright, Selenium/Appium)
  • Ability to look at things from a user perspective and an eye for detail
  • Excellent communications skills, fluent in English
  • Independent, fast learning self-starter who wants to be part of a flourishing, curious and innovative organization

The salary range for this position is above the collective agreement and, depending on training, qualifications and professional experience, starts from EUR 50 000,-- gross annually.
