Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Genetec. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute manual and automation test cases for web and mobile applications
- Analyze and identify the presence of any issues or defects in the system and assist developers in the validation and resolving of issues and defects
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing
- Proactively raise potential issues and problems and bring them to the attention of the team
- Participate and contribute in feature planning
- Experience: You have at least 2 years of proven experience in the field of software quality assurance in an agile environment
- Problem Solving: You are an out-of-the-box thinker with strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Manual Testing: You have a good understanding of QA processes, you are familiar with test case management tools, API testing tools, and have basic SQL knowledge
- Automation: You have good programming skills (JavaScript or Typescript) and experience with any automation framework (e.g. Cypress, Playwright, Selenium/Appium)
- User Perspective: You are able to look at things from a user perspective and you have an eye for detail
- Excellent Communications: You are fluent in English, and you can clearly communicate any issues, and give status reports
- Self-drive: You are an independent, fast learning self-starter who wants to be part of a flourishing, curious, and innovative organization

The salary range for this position is above the collective agreement and, depending on training, qualifications, and professional experience, starts from EUR 50,000,-- gross annually.
