Quality Assurance Engineer for Customer Relations

Located in Kalsdorf, Austria, our technology center is at the forefront of Lithium-Ion Battery pack development for hybrid and electric vehicles. We collaborate closely with our clients to ensure the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the customer service and field failure analysis processes.
- Act as the primary contact for customers regarding field and design quality issues during the serial production phase.
- Engage in customer meetings to review part handling and track issues.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary quality reports (8D) within customer portals.
- Support manufacturing locations during the serial production phase.
- Monitor the problem resolution process throughout the serial production phase.
- Coordinate customer field complaints during the serial production phase.
- Assist with PPAP activities in accordance with customer requirements during serial production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related studies.
- Experience in automotive quality management and manufacturing quality processes.
- Proficient in customer communication and issue tracking using 8D methodologies.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, and 5 Whys.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and statistical tools like Minitab.
- Demonstrated systematic and process-oriented approach with strong initiative and responsibility.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal (German language skills are a plus).
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
