About the Role:

Osterreichische Post AG is seeking a skilled Lead IoT Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a pivotal role in the development of our technical core, ensuring the provision of postal services to the Austrian population, even in critical times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement successful product architectures, utilizing proficiency in .NET/C# and database systems.
  • Develop innovative IoT solutions, from planning to implementing end-to-end IoT systems, while collaborating with teams to seamlessly integrate IoT solutions into existing infrastructures.
  • Monitor and evaluate emerging IoT technologies and trends for potential integration into existing solutions, ensuring adherence to quality standards, security regulations, and data protection requirements specific to IoT.
  • Provide mentoring and fostering knowledge transfer within the team to promote a robust engineering culture.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in .NET/C# and database systems.
  • Deep comprehension of Microsoft Cloud technologies and the IoT tech stack from protocol to application level.
  • Collaborative and adaptable attitude, with strong communication skills within international, agile teams.
  • Fluency in either German or English, with at least business-level proficiency in the other language.
