About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PLM Consultant to join our team at PALFINGER AG. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of PLM systems and ensuring seamless integration with our existing IT landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and derive business requirements from stakeholders and align them with cross-functional teams
  • Design and document IT system landscapes, ensuring smooth handovers to the IT department
  • Develop PLM system implementation roadmaps to secure stakeholder commitment
  • Implement PLM systems through pilot projects and proof-of-concepts, maintaining daily business operations
  • Support the integration of new group entities into the PLM system landscape
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Engineering regarding new software solutions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive project success

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in consulting, industrial, or academic environments, with a focus on product lifecycle management
  • University degree in engineering
  • Deep knowledge of the PLM software toolchain and experience with global rollouts
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into system integration concepts
  • High degree of independence, initiative, and quality awareness
  • Understanding of project and process management
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Openness to innovation and organizational transformation
  • Readiness to travel up to 25%
  • Excellent business English and German language skills

We offer an attractive and performance-related salary, based on your qualifications and professional experience, which can be significantly above the collective labor agreement for this position.
