Senior Controller, IT Finance

The Senior Controller, IT Finance plays a pivotal role in supporting the Magna IT team in managing the business and driving financial performance. Reporting to the Director of Finance, they provide global support to specific IT functional areas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing controlling processes for assigned IT functional and regional areas, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting, business planning, project accounting, and capital expenditure tracking.
- Partnering with the Magna IT team to provide management reporting, business analysis, and support for pricing calculations.
- Collaborating with other corporate functional departments, such as Corporate Tax or Treasury, to ensure Magna IT meets internal requirements, including transfer pricing requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A commercial or economic education with a specialization in finance/controlling, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in accounting and finance, with a thorough knowledge of financial and accounting practices and procedures.
- Proven supervisory experience (minimum 2 years).
- Accounting experience, including overseeing/managing company financial summaries, such as month-end, year-end, and operation reviews, year-end auditing process, general accounting, developing business plans, and analysis of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow.
- Experience working with virtual teams is an asset.

- Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to build solid relationships and influence across a diverse group of business people with a wide array of professional backgrounds, including executive management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate and complete multiple tasks within and across departments to meet established and changing deadlines.
- Strong computer skills, including advanced Excel, PowerPoint, data warehouse, and ERP systems.

We offer an attractive annual remuneration package, including a minimum of EUR 75,000, with corresponding qualifications.
