Position OverviewMagna is on the lookout for a Senior Analyst specializing in IT Vendor Management to join our IT Vendor Management division. The successful candidate will be part of a global team with a presence across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. This role is crucial in supporting the transformation project for IT Professional Services, with a focus on contract governance and supplier transformation processes. The Senior Analyst will be tasked with negotiating and overseeing various regional and global IT contracts and will represent the IT Vendor Management team in interactions with internal stakeholders and global partners.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate the procurement lifecycle process within Vendor Management.
- Oversee and assess vendor performance, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct regular evaluations and audits of vendors to gauge performance and resolve any issues.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles, best practices, and manage RFx requests.
- Exhibit proven experience in vendor performance and relationship management.
- Implement Supplier Management and Governance specifically in IT Professional Services.
- Ideal candidates will be experts in IT Vendor Management and Procurement.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills in managing large, complex contracts across various IT categories, with a primary focus on IT Professional Services.
- Prior experience with software licensing, contracts, framework agreements, and volume purchasing.
- Strong problem-solving abilities for supplier-related challenges.
- Meticulous attention to detail in contract and performance oversight.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for fostering positive supplier relationships and stakeholder engagement.
- Exceptional negotiation capabilities and training.
- Leadership and influence skills.
- Proficient in Business English (written and verbal) is essential.
- German language proficiency (written and verbal) is advantageous.
- Project Management expertise in large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Teams, Outlook).
- Strong executive communication skills.
- Advanced Business Acumen and Financial Analysis skills.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in IT Vendor Management, Procurement, or Professional Services is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree is typically required, with degrees in analytical fields such as business, economics, psychology, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or finance being preferred.
- A degree or certification in Supply Chain Management is a plus.
Regular travel of 10-15% may be required, primarily for local visits to engage with internal stakeholders or meet with vendors.
