Position Summary

Magna is on the lookout for a Senior Analyst in IT Vendor Management to join our Vendor Management division within Magna IT. The successful candidate will be part of a global team with a presence across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. This role is pivotal in supporting the transformation project for IT Professional Services, concentrating on contract governance and supplier transformation methodologies. The Senior Analyst will also take charge of negotiating and overseeing various regional and global IT contracts, representing the Magna IT Vendor Management team while collaborating with internal stakeholders and global partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the procurement lifecycle process within Vendor Management.
  • Oversee and evaluate vendor performance, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of vendors to evaluate performance and resolve any concerns.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles, best practices, and manage RFx requests.
  • Exhibit proven expertise in vendor performance and relationship management.
  • Execute Supplier Management and Governance specifically within IT Professional Services.
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Ideal candidates will be subject matter experts in IT Vendor Management and Procurement.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills in managing complex contracts across various IT categories, including hardware, software, services, with a primary focus on IT Professional Services.
  • Prior experience with software licensing, contracts, framework agreements, and volume purchasing.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities for supplier-related challenges.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in contract and performance oversight.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for fostering positive supplier relationships and stakeholder engagement.
  • Outstanding negotiation capabilities and training experience.
  • Leadership and influence skills.
  • Proficiency in Business English (written & verbal) is essential.
  • German language proficiency (written & verbal) is advantageous.
  • Project Management experience in large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Teams, Outlook).
  • Strong executive communication skills.
  • Expertise in Business Acumen and Financial Analysis.
Knowledge, Education, and Experience
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in IT Vendor Management, Procurement, or Professional Services is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree is typically required, or equivalent work experience. Degrees in analytical fields such as business, economics, psychology, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or finance are preferred.
  • A degree or certification in Supply Chain Management is a plus.
Work Environment

Regular travel of 10-15% may be required, primarily for local visits to engage with internal stakeholders or meet with vendors.

The annual compensation package for this role starts at a minimum of EUR 60,000, commensurate with qualifications. We offer attractive benefits, including a discretionary performance bonus and an employee participation program, with a salary aligned with market standards based on your skills and experience.
