Position Summary
Magna is looking for a Senior Analyst in IT Vendor Management to join our Vendor Management division within Magna IT. This role is integral to a global team with a presence across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. The ideal candidate will significantly contribute to the IT Professional Services transformation initiative, concentrating on contract oversight and supplier enhancement processes. The Senior Analyst will also oversee the negotiation and administration of various regional and global IT contracts, acting as the representative for Magna IT's Vendor Management team while collaborating with internal stakeholders and global partners. This position supports Magna IT, Magna Corporate, Group, and Divisional locations on a worldwide scale.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the Vendor Management procurement lifecycle process.
- Evaluate and manage vendor performance, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
- Conduct regular vendor assessments and audits to evaluate performance and resolve any issues.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of sourcing and procurement methodologies, best practices, and execute RFx requests.
- Exhibit proven experience in vendor performance and relationship management.
- Implement Supplier Management and Governance specifically within IT Professional Services.
- Candidates should be experts in IT Vendor Management and Procurement.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills in managing large, complex contracts across various IT categories, with a primary focus on IT Professional Services.
- Prior experience with software licensing, contracts, framework agreements, and bulk purchasing.
- Strong problem-solving abilities for supplier-related challenges.
- Meticulous attention to detail in contract and performance oversight.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for fostering positive supplier relationships and stakeholder engagement.
- Exceptional negotiation capabilities and training.
- Leadership and influence skills.
- Proficient in Business English (written and verbal) is essential.
- German language proficiency (written and verbal) is advantageous.
- Project Management experience in larger transformation initiatives.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Teams, Outlook).
- Strong executive communication skills.
- Expertise in Business Acumen and Financial Analysis.
- 5-7 years of experience in IT Vendor Management, Procurement, or Professional Services is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree is typically required, with a preference for degrees in analytical fields such as business, economics, psychology, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or finance.
- A degree or certification in Supply Chain Management is a plus.
Regular travel of 10-15% may be required, primarily for local visits to engage with internal stakeholders or meet with vendors.

The annual compensation package for this role starts at a minimum of EUR 60,000, commensurate with qualifications. We offer attractive benefits, including a discretionary performance bonus and an employee participation program, along with a competitive salary based on your skills and experience.
