FTTH Network Solutions Engineer

We are seeking an experienced FTTH Network Solutions Engineer to join our team at T&T Consulting SAS. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in planning and designing FTTH network solutions for our clients.

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and experience in telecommunications or related fields, particularly in FTTH design. Our ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HFC and PON architectures, as well as proficiency in AutoCAD and Google Earth.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing FTTH network solutions, including High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), drawings, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
  • Reviewing CO location(s) selection and providing valuable insights
  • Validating FTTH main feeder routes and boundaries
  • Ensuring Splitter Boundaries and Distribution Cable Routing accuracy
  • Preparing amendments to original designs as required
  • Inspecting and validating optical budgets
  • Designing point-to-point connectivity solutions, including plans, designs, drawings, and BOQs
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
  • Verifying ODF designs, including port/ODF allocation
  • Confirming Floor plans (CO and MDU Telecom Room) and node locations

The successful candidate will be working on-site in Vienna, collaborating with vendors and the implementation team to ensure that all deliverables meet the highest standards.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in telecommunications or a related field
  • Graduation from a technical college program (preferably in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Electrical Telecommunications, or GIS)
  • Experience in FTTH design is mandatory
  • Familiarity with Austrian FTTH design specifications
  • German language skills (working language) and fluency in English for communication
