Machine Learning Engineer for Autonomous Driving Research

**Project Overview**
Automotive companies are working to develop reliable and safe autonomous driving systems, but testing these systems is a complex task. Our team at AVL is researching ways to efficiently identify critical scenarios that could impact the safety and reliability of autonomous driving vehicles.
**Your Responsibilities**
As a research assistant, your tasks will include:
1. Developing and evaluating machine learning algorithms for scenario identification
2. Analyzing the performance of different machine learning methods
3. Collaborating with experts in the field to gain insights and expertise
**Requirements**
We're looking for candidates with a strong background in computer science, telematics, physics, or electrical engineering. You should have good programming skills in Python or C++ and knowledge of machine learning concepts. Familiarity with optimization methods is a plus. As our office is located in Graz, Austria, you'll need to be available to work on-site.
