Senior IT Support Specialist

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated IT Support Representative to join our dynamic team at Renesas Electronics. As a key member of our global IT organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide local support activities for the Global Service Desk, facilities, and corporate IT functions
  • Offer deskside, L2 support, and other IT support at designated sites
  • Troubleshoot and provide local support for end users
  • Act as the local liaison between IT and the business
  • Provide IT project support as required by the business
  • Own a secondary technical skill (e.g., SCCM, Zscaler, Apple devices)
  • Maintain internal user guides, guidance notes, and technical documents
  • Provide new starters with correct equipment and guided access to IT resources and ensure leaver equipment is processed correctly
  • Stock control, inventory, and secure hardware disposal
  • Response time for escalations to Level 2 support within SLAs
  • Replacement equipment available to meet SLA
  • Occasionally set up and maintain the IT infrastructure at a basic level
  • Provide vacation/holiday coverage to other in-region liaisons
  • Occasionally on-call/standby work during scheduled out-of-hours IT upgrades

**Requirements**

  • Typically requires 5 years of IT experience in a professional capacity
  • Very good knowledge of Windows client software and Microsoft Office
  • Able to manage priorities under pressure
  • Desired knowledge of networking, including Wi-Fi, routers, switches, VPN
  • Secondary technical skill (e.g., Azure AD, endpoint security)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to convey technical information to non-technical users successfully
  • Experience in working in an agile organization that is fast-moving and requires a can-do attitude
  • Experience in working across all levels of an organization
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken German and English
