Job Overview

Amazon is seeking a seasoned Senior Supply Chain Manager to join our Strategic Integrated Network Planning (SINP) team in the EU headquarters. This role plays a pivotal part in optimizing Amazon's transportation network across Europe, ensuring seamless and efficient delivery of customer packages.

About the Role
This Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for defining innovative supply chain models, analyzing complex data sets, and influencing stakeholders to drive improvements. You will work closely with multiple teams across Amazon, from operational fulfillment to retail, to optimize supply chains and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop strategic supply chain plans that align with business objectives and drive cost efficiency.
  2. Analyze large datasets to identify areas of improvement and develop data-driven solutions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and ensure successful project outcomes.
  4. Coach and develop team members to build a stronger, more capable team.

A Day in the Life
In this role, you'll navigate challenges, resolve temporary issues, and take a big-picture approach to drive Amazon towards achieving new objectives. As a Supply Chain Manager, you'll have the opportunity to help forecast and plan for new projects, making every day unique and filled with learning opportunities.

About the Team
The ATS team is crucial to Amazon's success, and as part of it, you'll be welcomed into a diverse group of professionals who play a central role in our transport operations. Using air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centers equipped with the latest technology, you'll help Amazon's transport run at maximum efficiency.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or related field.
  2. Experience in program or project management, preferably in supply chain.
  3. Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.
  4. Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  5. MBA, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or related technical or quantitative field.
  6. Experience leading process improvements, complex problem-solving, and working in a tight schedule environment.

Salary Estimate
The estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
