We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Vienna, Austria. As a key member of our Electric & Automation department, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative solutions for our clients in the field of drive technology.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and dimension individual drives, multi-drive systems, and motors according to mechanical requirements
  • Develop and specify AC and DC electric power supplies
  • Support project development with offer specifications and calculations
  • Test and commission our systems, as well as train and instruct international customers
  • Contribute to safety and hazard analysis, supporting stakeholders in multinational projects
  • Optimize and maintain existing solutions, and develop new, innovative solutions for technical and economic improvement
  • Support the creation and maintenance of hardware engineering standards
  • Contribute to our internal knowledge management system
  • Act as a point of contact for other departments, customers, sub-suppliers, and stakeholders regarding AC and DC drive systems and power supplies

Your Profile:

  • Completed technical education in electrical engineering or drives technology
  • Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a global corporate environment
  • Competent knowledge of drive technology, including Siemens SINAMICS and ABB ACS880
  • Good knowledge of international guidelines and standards, such as IEC and NEMA/UL
  • Structured and solution-oriented thinking, with an analytical approach
  • Responsible and independent working style
  • Team player, with flexibility in international project teams
  • Good English and German skills, with other language skills beneficial
  • Willingness to travel internationally (10-20%)
