We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team at Infineon Technologies.
About the RoleThis position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge power conversion applications, leveraging your expertise in electrical engineering and semiconductors.
Job Description- Measure and test Infineon components in various power conversion applications, including motor drives, battery protection, and DCDC converters.
- Perform tests on specially designed boards to support the development and optimization of new technologies.
- Carry out competitor benchmarking, organize and analyze data, and generate test reports.
- Act as technical support for product definition engineering teams to validate product value propositions in customer systems during development projects.
- Contribute to peer reviews of internal development documents.
- Create new application test setups, including design of application test boards and test automation.
- Assist Product Application Engineering in writing application notes, layout, and board design.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
- 1-3 years of proven hands-on work experience in electrical engineering laboratory environments, including using lab equipment.
- Proficient knowledge of semiconductors, especially Power MOSFETs.
- Experience in analyzing measurement data and presenting results for internal and external stakeholders.
- Capability to work independently and provide guidance to teammates.
- Programming skills in C, C++, Visual Studio, Matlab, PCB Design (Allegro, Altium Designer).
- MS Office skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent English language skills and basic German skills.
