Role Overview

This is a financial leadership role that requires a seasoned professional with expertise in accounting and finance. The Chief Financial Controller will oversee the financial operations of our Slovak entity, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective management of financial resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the general ledger and accounts payable for our Slovak entity independently.
  • Assist with monthly and annual financial closings, support the team with IFRS and statutory audits, and handle tax accounting.
  • Act as a sparring partner for the Accounting Team Lead and actively participate in ongoing accounting tasks.
  • Shape processes within global accounting, driving the optimization and development of our processes.
  • Support projects, particularly in the areas of digitalization and automation.
Requirements
  • Solid commercial education (HAK, university, or technical college) with a completed accounting certification.
  • Experience in IFRS and Slovak tax law, ideally within an international corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP FI/CO (S4 Hana) and Excel.
  • Interest in cross-departmental projects, especially in digitalization and automation.
  • A dedicated team player with a big-picture perspective, who enjoys working in an international team.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English, Slovak is an advantage.
