We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist and Analytics Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth through data-driven insights.

About Us:

Lingvano GmbH is a leading provider of sign language and Deaf culture lessons. Our mission is to break down language barriers and build bridges between Deaf and hearing people.

Job Summary:

The Data Scientist and Analytics Lead will play a critical role in developing and implementing our business intelligence and data science function. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven growth and improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain advanced analytics models to drive business growth
  • Lead the development and implementation of our business intelligence function
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven growth and improvement
  • Design and develop dashboards and reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in business analytics, preferably in an app or tech start-up company
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Looker Studio)
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning algorithms
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
