Role Overview

As a Procurement Specialist, you will engage in a comprehensive evaluation of requirements, pricing structures, current suppliers, and market conditions to curate an optimal selection of products and vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sourcing: Conduct thorough assessments of material categories to devise and execute effective purchasing strategies.
  • Collaboration: Actively contribute to product development initiatives, ensuring alignment with procurement objectives.
  • Supplier Management: Oversee the entire supplier lifecycle, including identification, evaluation, onboarding, and performance assessment.
  • Risk Assessment: Analyze and evaluate product and supplier portfolios to ensure sustainable supply chain security, categorizing suppliers based on risk factors.
Candidate Profile
  • Educational background in commerce or technical fields; prior experience in procurement is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (experience with Navision or SAP is a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills, adept negotiation abilities, and a confident demeanor.
  • Reliable, responsible, and capable of working independently while being personable.
  • Fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation

The salary will be commensurate with professional experience, with a formal minimum salary in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement set at €41.
