About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Public Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team at Journi GmbH. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for developing and implementing PR strategies that align with our business objectives, focusing on user acquisition and brand positioning.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the B2C tech sector, with a proven track record in executing international PR campaigns. You should excel at identifying and engaging target audiences to expand our user base and solidify our brand as the premier choice for preserving memories through photo books.

Key Responsibilities:
  • PR Strategies: Develop comprehensive PR plans that drive business results and align with our company goals.
  • Media Relations: Leverage your existing media relationships in key markets (DACH, FR, UK, USA, IT, PL) to secure coverage in top-tier outlets and grow our user base.
  • Campaign Management: Find ways to execute PR efforts in multiple markets beyond DACH, expanding our brand visibility and reach.
  • Audience Engagement: Identify our target audience, understand their needs, and develop successful PR concepts to capture their interest.
  • Brand Storytelling: Create compelling narratives that position us as the leading brand for photo book creation, emphasizing ease of use and speed.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish KPIs and utilize analytics to assess the impact of PR activities, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Crisis Management: Have concepts ready to react quickly to potential crises.
  • Internal Communication: Consult C-Level and HR on other sorts of communication for internal or investor relationships.
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Media Outreach: Proficiency in pitching stories and securing placements in top-tier media outlets, with a database or knowledge of where to find the right journalists.
  • Content Creation: Ability to produce engaging press releases, articles, and other PR materials.
  • Event Coordination: Experience in organizing press conferences, product launches, and other PR events.
  • Crisis Management: Skilled in handling PR crises with tact and efficiency.
  • Digital Savvy: Familiarity with social media platforms and digital PR tactics to amplify reach.
  • Tools and Metrics: Knowledge of essential tools and ability to set up systems to monitor and analyze success.
  • Fluency in Languages: Fluency in English and German is required.
