The Role You'll Be Playing
CSBG Global Product Support Team is seeking a skilled Hardware and System Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Offer technical support to customers and internal teams for complex equipment and software.
- Respond to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
- Report design, reliability, and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering.
- May be involved in customer installation and training.
- Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.
Requirements and Preferences
- Technical education in electronics, mechatronics, engineering, or other applicable field of study.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics.
- Completed exam of HTL in Electrical Engineering or other applicable field of study.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Proficiency in English (oral and written). Any other language would be an asset.
- Willingness to travel ~25% worldwide is a requirement of this position.
Additional Information
This position is subject to the for employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group E or F depending on education. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise, education, and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
