About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to join our team at ÖBB-Konzern. As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data architectures that support our business growth and innovation.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data architecture strategies and principles to ensure data quality, integrity, and security
  • Design and implement data models, data integration, and ETL processes to meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
  • Lead initiatives to optimize and enhance data performance and capacity to support business growth
  • Contribute to data landscape documentation and participate in Information and Data Governance (IDG) boards


About You

You will need to have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related field. You should be proficient in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing, and have experience with ETL/ELT orchestration, data governance frameworks, and cloud platforms.
