At Infineon Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer Product Development to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing power semiconductor products for high voltage E-mobility applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Design discrete products like IGBT or SiC MOSFET electrically, mechanically, and thermally.
- Contribute to the definition of our new products through requirements gathering and specification tailoring.
- Help tailor characterization plans and product datasheets.
- Participate and drive risk assessments and FMEAs.
- A degree in Physics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 4+ years of technical working experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Deep knowledge of semiconductor physics and power devices, ideally within the semiconductor market and with MOS devices, Diodes, IGBTs.
- Knowledge in package development as well as FE/BE interaction (as an advantage).
- An innovative mindset and the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders to find the optimal technical solution.
- Excellent English communication skills, German is a plus.
