This role is a unique opportunity to spearhead high-impact projects within our operations, tackle sustainability challenges head-on, and refine our life cycle assessment process. Your contribution will be instrumental in steering us towards our ambitious net-zero targets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) on diverse materials and processes to shape a sustainable future.
  2. Manage supplier requests and validate data with precision to ensure accuracy.
  3. Conduct in-depth research on sustainability-related topics and regulatory frameworks to stay ahead of the curve.
  4. Manage and support projects within the Global Research Team, maintaining progress and driving results.
  5. Raise ideas and highlight areas of improvement to increase innovation and efficiency.
Requirements

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a Master's degree in environment and bioresources management, nutritional sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, technical chemistry, process engineering, or a similar field.

5 years of experience in sustainability and/or innovation management, with a proven track record of managing innovative sustainability projects in the FMCG or a related industry.

Experience in conducting Life-Cycle-Assessments (LCAs) and a holistic understanding of Operations/Supply Chain processes.

Strong analytical mind with the ability to take fact-based decisions, natural curiosity, and the ability to quickly identify important scientific questions.

Scientific experience and/or publications in the related field are a strong advantage.

Strong communication skills, open to learn, and a pro-active and solution-focused way of working.

English fluency is a must, and German is a strong advantage.
