This role is a unique opportunity to spearhead high-impact projects within our operations, tackle sustainability challenges head-on, and refine our life cycle assessment process. Your contribution will be instrumental in steering us towards our ambitious net-zero targets.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) on diverse materials and processes to shape a sustainable future.
- Manage supplier requests and validate data with precision to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct in-depth research on sustainability-related topics and regulatory frameworks to stay ahead of the curve.
- Manage and support projects within the Global Research Team, maintaining progress and driving results.
- Raise ideas and highlight areas of improvement to increase innovation and efficiency.
We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a Master's degree in environment and bioresources management, nutritional sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, technical chemistry, process engineering, or a similar field.
5 years of experience in sustainability and/or innovation management, with a proven track record of managing innovative sustainability projects in the FMCG or a related industry.
Experience in conducting Life-Cycle-Assessments (LCAs) and a holistic understanding of Operations/Supply Chain processes.
Strong analytical mind with the ability to take fact-based decisions, natural curiosity, and the ability to quickly identify important scientific questions.
Scientific experience and/or publications in the related field are a strong advantage.
Strong communication skills, open to learn, and a pro-active and solution-focused way of working.
English fluency is a must, and German is a strong advantage.
