Business Intelligence Analyst for Credit Risk Management

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Data Analyst to join our team at Erste Group Bank AG. As a key member of our Credit Portfolio Steering department, you will be responsible for monitoring the development of our overall loan portfolio, identifying trends and patterns, and developing strategies to mitigate risk.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Erste Digital and other data users to ensure seamless IT integration of our DataMarts.
- Act as our Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Crisp Agile Team, providing input on requirements, prioritization, and sprint planning.
- Prepare analytical data frameworks for internal, regulatory, and management needs.
- Develop and improve our reporting and data visualization capabilities using tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Continuously improve our portfolio steering function to enhance risk management and decision-making.
Your Background
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify complex patterns and trends in data.
- Proficiency in SQL and SAS to query, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.
- Good knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and VBA scripting for data manipulation and visualization.
- Background in data science, IT, mathematics, or similar, with a strong interest and preferably experience in banking and credit risk.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English and German.
