Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Lead Developer to join our team. As a technical team lead, you will be responsible for managing international, agile Scrum teams and overseeing the technical management of our software development projects. You will work closely with experts in the teams to make important technical decisions regarding software architecture and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple international, agile Scrum teams and provide technical leadership
  • Oversee the technical conception and strategic development of software and products
  • Collaborate with experts to make technical decisions on software architecture and frameworks
  • Develop and implement technically innovative backend and frontend solutions
  • Communicate technical solutions to stakeholders and drive forward important topics such as quality assurance and development processes
Requirements
  • Experience in technical and disciplinary management of virtual, international teams
  • Sound knowledge of the Java platform, including core, multithreading, and collections, as well as Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud
  • Very good knowledge of design patterns and best practices in software design
  • Experience in building scalable distributed applications, micro-service architectures, and cloud platforms
  • Experience with code quality metrics and test coverage
  • Familiarity with current web development standards and trends, frameworks, and build tools
  • Good written and spoken English skills

Our team of over 100 developers is looking forward to reinforcement. The gross annual salary for this position in Austria is from EUR 46,318 for a Bachelor's degree and from EUR 50,732 for a Master's degree. In addition, we offer a market-compliant overpayment depending on qualifications and experience.
