Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Analyst to join our security team. As a Senior Security Analyst, you will be responsible for leading security incident investigations, improving detection and alerting of security incidents, and contributing to security incident response processes and best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Respond quickly to security incidents and lead security incident investigations, coordinating efforts between various teams.
- Improve and expand detection and alerting of security incidents to ensure efficient and effective response.
- Contribute to security incident response processes and best practices.
- Collaborate with various teams to implement detection use cases and runbooks to properly handle occurring security incidents.
- Work with teams across the company to build and automate security incident handling workflows.
- Continuously improve and monitor our security incident detection and response workflows.
- Prototype new technologies for security incident detection and response.
- Contribute to 24x7 coverage for security incident response in a global team with a follow-the-sun model.
- 4+ years of experience in security operations/engineering.
- Technical studies related to security engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in analyzing security incidents and threats, especially in hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience in development and software architecture (cloud, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Hands-on team player with great communication skills (even in time-critical situations) and an 'automate everything' mindset.
