About the Job

We're looking for an experienced Senior C++ Engineer to join our team and help us extend our Ruby Agent offering by implementing new features, changes, and improvements to our Ruby Agent - all written in C++. As a member of our development team, you will be responsible for developing performance and availability monitoring solutions for Ruby applications, working primarily with C++, analyzing and understanding the inner workings of common Ruby, Ruby apps, and gems, and gazing beyond common frameworks and gems with a deep understanding of Ruby.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong understanding of modern C++, knowledge of Ruby and its interpreters, knowledge of Ruby native extensions and FFI, experience publishing Ruby Gems, ability to focus on details but keep the mind open for the whole ecosystem, and team player skills and eagerness to learn innovative technologies.
