Job Description

AVL is seeking a skilled Global Project Manager to join our team in Austria. As a key member of our global project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the economic success of our customer projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial support to project managers to ensure the economic success of global customer projects.
  • Coordinate ongoing projects with technical project managers, detecting and proactively communicating deviations in time, cost, and cash flow.
  • Monitor and support project costs, as well as assess risks in the global project system.
  • Support in claim management and collaborate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to UGB and IFRS.
  • Further develop the global project system, focusing on key figures, digitalization, and BI.

Requirements:

  • Completed education in economics or a technical-economic field.
  • At least two years of professional experience in a controlling environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP, MS Office (particularly Excel), and Power-BI is an advantage.
  • Good project management and communication skills, as well as a pragmatic and solution-oriented work approach.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% (occasionally). Fluency in German and English is essential for success in an international environment.

Salary: The annual gross remuneration for this position is 53,480.00, with a possibility of negotiations taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
