Talent Acquisition Specialist for DACH Region

Avantor's Talent Acquisition Team is seeking a customer-focused Talent Acquisition Partner with strong direct sourcing experience. The successful candidate will work in partnership with business hiring managers and cross-functional HR teams, leading a full-cycle recruitment process to identify, attract, and hire top talent to our organization.
In this role, you will report to the Talent Acquisition Supervisor Europe East and focus predominantly on hiring in the DACH Region. This hybrid role will preferably be based in Vienna-Office / Germany-Remote and requires visiting our site in Schwabmünchen, Germany (20% time).
Key Responsibilities- Launch and lead the recruitment process for open headcount by interfacing with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to identify employment needs, conduct intake sessions, and develop a recruitment strategy.
- Reduce time to fill by developing recruitment strategies to include attracting and nurturing prospects via direct sourcing, networking, social media engagement, pipelining, and referral methodologies.
- Pre-screen qualified candidates, and facilitating feedback discussions across interview panels. Provide compensation recommendations to the hiring team and extend negotiated offers to finalist candidates. Primarily supporting the recruitment for junior-level individual contributor roles.
- Education: High School Diploma required. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Certification in sourcing, diversity recruiting, and/or behavioral-based interviewing (e.g., AIRS, LinkedIn Recruiter, DDI, etc.) preferred.
- Experience: Intermediate experience in-house recruiter and/or recruitment agency experience is required. Experience working within a corporate full-cycle recruitment team preferred.
- Experience in recruiting positions within manufacturing or distribution areas would be an asset.
- Collaboration Tool: Microsoft 365, Workday, or another large-scale ATS preferred. CRM (Candidate Relationship Management) tools, LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Candidate Relationship Management: Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Candidate Sourcing & Prospecting: Utilize various sourcing methods, including online channels, social media, and networking events, to identify potential candidates.
- Applicant Pipeline Management - Screening and Evaluation: Review resumes and applications to ensure alignment with job requirements.
- Job Postings: Lead the refinement and posting of job descriptions on various job boards and platforms.
- Business Relationship Management: Collaborate with hiring managers to understand near-term staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
