Digital System Design Expertise
This role requires strong proficiency in RTL design using Verilog and SystemVerilog. You will lead the entire RTL design process, from block-level to top-level, ensuring robust logic synthesis, static timing analysis, and seamless integration across clock domains. Additionally, you'll translate product requirements into hardware specifications, define architectures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality designs meet rigorous standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop complex SoCs with top-level integration, including analog-on-top and digital-on-top designs
- Translate product requirements into hardware specifications, defining optimal architectures and interfaces
- Collaborate with system, verification, and chip integration teams to ensure high-quality designs
- Plan and execute digital design activities, oversee quality inspections, and provide post-silicon bring-up support
- Mentor a growing team of designers and students, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration
Requirements and Qualifications
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in RTL design using Verilog and SystemVerilog
- Experience with industry-standard tools like Excelium and Spyglass, as well as power intent management using UPF
- Competence in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and Tcl, with medium-level experience in behavioral modeling
- Proficiency in design version control systems, including Perforce, ClearCase, SVN, and GIT
