Job Description

As a Legal Counsel at CPB SOFTWARE AG, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to the company's management and teams. Your primary focus will be on analyzing and interpreting complex legal issues, drafting and reviewing contracts, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

You will work closely with the management team to develop and implement legal strategies that align with the company's business objectives. Your expertise will be essential in negotiating and drafting contracts, as well as providing guidance on intellectual property, data protection, and employment law.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial law, contract law, and employment law. You will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support to the management team and other departments
  • Analyze and interpret complex legal issues and develop solutions
  • Draft and review contracts, including commercial agreements, employment contracts, and non-disclosure agreements
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including data protection and employment law
  • Negotiate and draft contracts with external parties
  • Provide guidance on intellectual property law and licensing agreements

Requirements:

  • Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent) and admission to the bar
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial law, contract law, or employment law
  • Strong understanding of commercial law, contract law, and employment law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
