Position Overview
As an HRIS Specialist, you will serve as a vital link between HR systems and local HR teams. This role positions you as the primary resource for Valneva’s HR technology systems, responsible for initiating system enhancements in collaboration with HR colleagues to elevate the overall People Experience across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a catalyst for digital transformation, collaborating with IT and software vendors to implement system upgrades and configurations, while exploring more suitable HR solutions.
- Assist local HR teams in Europe and North America with daily inquiries related to user access permissions, security settings, and resolving any issues.
- Maintain and update all Valneva HR systems, including those related to Recruitment, HR Core, and Performance Management.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for HRIS-related inquiries and escalations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, user guides, and training materials to facilitate HRIS usage across the organization.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders to streamline processes and workflows through automation and system optimization.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in HR and HR Information Systems.
- A Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or a related field (HR Consulting, IT, etc.).
- Strong self-organization skills and a quick understanding of business-oriented behavior.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Experience in utilizing data to derive insights that inform decision-making.
- Detail-oriented with proactive problem-solving abilities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent proficiency in English; knowledge of German is preferred.
- A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
