About the Role
The BMW Group is a leading manufacturer of premium automobiles and motorcycles, and we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our European Sales Operations department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the controlling of sales and costs for BMW, MINI, and Motorrad in the Central and Southeastern Europe region.
- Contribute to the planning, steering, and reporting of financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze plan/target gaps and derive target-aimed measures to improve financial performance.
- Support the financial evaluation of planned strategic activities and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in the monthly closing, forecasting, and budget planning processes.
- Prepare regular reports and management presentations to ensure effective communication of financial information.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with central departments, regional headquarters, and local offices to ensure a constant dialogue and information exchange.
- Continuously develop and improve controlling concepts, methods, and processes to support business growth and improvement.
Requirements
- Studies in Business Administration or a related field with a focus on Controlling or Accounting.
- Previous experience in finance and controlling, preferably through internships or entry-level positions.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Fluent English language skills, with proficiency in German and additional language skills an advantage.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with SAP and understanding of database structures an advantage.
