This is an exciting opportunity for a talented developer who is passionate about development, high performance, and understanding how things work at a low level. You will work primarily with Ruby and C++ (for native extensions) and analyze and understand the inner workings of common Ruby gems.
Key Responsibilities- Development of performance and availability monitoring solutions for Ruby applications
- Independent design and implementation of new features and feature ownership
- Intensive cooperation with local and international development teams
- Several years of experience as a Software Engineer with Ruby (priority) and C++
- Knowledge of OpenTelemetry is a plus
- Knowledge of different Ruby interpreters CRuby/JRuby is a plus
- Knowledge of Ruby native extensions and FFI is a plus
- Experience publishing Ruby Gems is a plus
