The Universitat Klagenfurt seeks a highly motivated and talented Research Associate in Artificial Intelligence to join its Department of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity.

As a Research Associate, you will be working in the field of production systems, focusing on declarative problem solving, combinatorial search and optimization, planning and scheduling, and related areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct theoretical and practical research in the field of production systems
  • Collaborate with the research group Production Systems to develop innovative methods and applications of Artificial Intelligence in the context of Industry 4.0
  • Contribute to the conception and implementation of dynamic, interactive and real-time optimization methods
  • Participate in the development and advancement of declarative problem solving methods

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong background in declarative problem solving, combinatorial search and optimization, planning and scheduling
  • Solid communication and dissemination skills
  • Fluency in English
