Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to strengthen our team in Salzburg. As a key member of our IT department, you will provide top-notch technical support and expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support for desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Evaluate and integrate new operating system versions, drivers, and hardware
- Offer technical expertise for system transitions, migrations, and consolidations
- Manage antivirus and desktop security and management solutions
- Install and maintain client hardware and software, including our asset system
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar role
- Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems
- Advanced hands-on experience with Windows operating system and user management in Active Directory
- Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues in IT infrastructure
- Strong willingness to learn about and introduce new desktop applications and technologies
- Fluency in verbal and written English, with English as the primary work language
