Senior Electrical Engineer High-Performance Electric Motors

AVL List GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to join our team in Austria. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for coordinating development projects and providing technical support for customer projects.
Your Responsibilities:- Technical responsibility for the development of innovative high-end electric motors
- Interface to inverter development and optimization of the overall system electric motor, inverter, and control software
- Coordination of an interdisciplinary and international team of specialists
- Design, simulation, production, and testing of electric motors with high speeds and power density
- Analysis of global trends and benchmarking
- Completed education in electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics, power electronics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the design and simulation of electrical drives and electrical drive technology
- Expert knowledge in the design of electrical machines and electric motor and inverter interaction
- Very good knowledge of English, basic knowledge of German desirable

Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: 68,000.00.
The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry).
We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
