Thesis Opportunity in Additive Manufacturing

We are offering a thesis opportunity in the field of additive manufacturing for fuel cell vehicles. This project involves the development of innovative concepts by combining manufacturing and measurement technologies. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on the realization and construction of demonstrators, testing of components, and evaluation of laboratory and simulation results.

Your Responsibilities
  • Development of innovative concepts by combining manufacturing and measurement technologies
  • Multi-physical simulation / analytical calculation of the design
  • Realization and construction of demonstrators
  • Testing of components / systems in the laboratory
  • Evaluation of laboratory and simulation results

Your Profile
  • Ongoing studies in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, Production Engineering or similar
  • Basic knowledge of sensor technologies and additive manufacturing
  • Mastery of at least one 3D CAD software
  • Basic knowledge of electrical drive systems and CFD advantageous
  • Structured and independent way of working with willingness to learn
  • Good knowledge of German and English
