Job Title: HR Controlling Specialist

About the Role

The department "Cost Controlling" in Group Finance acts as Finance Business Partner for cost development in Erste Bank Oesterreich, Holding, and subsidiaries. The team works together with management and business partners to set joint targets in line with strategic guidelines.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan personnel costs in coordination with the Group strategy
  • Set and monitor KPIs and support specialist departments in achieving HR cost targets
  • Regularly report personnel cost development to top management and participate in strategically relevant projects
  • Analyze the current cost structure, identify cost potentials, and exchange with relevant stakeholders
  • Continuously develop HR controlling and personnel cost management, as well as reporting (visualization & digitalization)
  • Regularly exchange with specialist departments such as Retail, Corporates, Risk Management, Controlling, HR Business Partners, and top management

Requirements

  • Completed university degree in controlling, human resources, business administration, or business law
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in HR controlling or payroll accounting - ideally in the banking sector
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP (CO and/or SAP HR), knowledge of Tableau as an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of Austrian labor law
  • Analytical skills, ability to work in a team, commitment, and enjoyment of communicating with different stakeholders
  • Very good communication skills in German and English
