Job Description

IAEA is seeking a highly skilled Digital Information Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive public information and external relations strategy to create visibility for the organization.
  • Collaborate with the news media to effectively deliver the IAEA message.
  • Coordinate and manage major media and public outreach campaigns.
  • Contribute creative input to develop proposals for media outreach.
  • Explain the work of the IAEA in a simple, concise, and interesting way to a non-scientific and global audience.
  • Formulate, develop, and deliver proposals for media outreach to highlight IAEA activities.
  • Aware of the background and sensitivity of international non-proliferation, safety, security, and other nuclear issues in which the IAEA is engaged.
  • Proven writing skills, including on complex technical issues.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Advanced university degree in journalism, international relations, non-proliferation studies, or a related field.
  • First university degree in journalism, international relations, non-proliferation studies, or a related field plus two additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree.
  • At least seven years of practical work experience in a journalism or international organization web, social media, and public information materials environment.
  • Ability to create KPIs and provide data analysis and evaluation dashboards using international metrics.
  • Proven skills in creating reports and presentations using a variety of software tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience of working on international issues.
  • Experience in writing in the field of nuclear non-proliferation or arms control is an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish) is an asset.
Remuneration

The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package, including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $77,326 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), a variable post adjustment, dependency benefits, rental subsidy, education grant, relocation, and repatriation expenses.

Other benefits include 6 weeks' annual leave, home leave travel, pension plan, and health insurance.
