About the role: Join our dynamic and inclusive team at Summerland Farm as a Front of House Supervisor in the Restaurant, where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional restaurant service while fostering a supportive work environment for individuals with disabilities.
In this pivotal role, you'll oversee front-of-house operations and lead a team of 25-30 staff members.
You will support the Retail and Tourism Coordinator by managing all aspects of restaurant service, including coordinating food delivery, executing functions and events, and working closely with the Head Chef to ensure top-notch food quality and customer service.
Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining our restaurant's reputation for excellence and driving growth within our retail and tourism portfolio.
We are looking for a confident and experienced leader in the hospitality industry.
You will use your expertise to guide and inspire your team, oversee training and development, handle ordering and stocktakes, recruit and roster casual staff, update POS systems, and manage employee wages and communications.
Your role will be essential in delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes and exceeding customer expectations.

Experience leading a team of 20-30 employee's is desired.
Certificate III in HospitalityEffective problem solving and technical skills Sound organisational skills and ability to prioritise work of a teamDemonstrated passion for quality food and beverage presentationExcellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal, including adapting communication style to meet individual needs.Brings a positive attitude consistent with Summerland Farm's ethos and Aruma's values, contributing to an engaging workplace culture celebrating diversity and continuous improvement.Demonstrated understanding of food safety and WHS requirementsA high level of physical fitness to meet the physical requirements of the positionFlexibility to work a range of shifts including weekends and nights for events as per hospitality industry requirements.A current Australian driver's licenseResponsible Service of Alcohol CertificateBarista Certificate and/or equivalent experienceHold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State).Ready to make a change?
