200,000+ bright minds, passionate hearts and unique perspectives connected by a shared Purpose – 'to create better experiences together for a better tomorrow.'If you're excited to turn today's blue sky thinking into a better tomorrow for future generations, you'll find yourself supported and enriched in a dynamic, inclusive and empowering workplace that reflects the diverse communities we serve.What you'll doAs the Product Manager for Pricing - COGS, you will be responsible for partnering with buying and category development teams to develop and implement end to end strategy, insights, engagement and tools to support COGS.Managing a team of analysts, you will utilise your strong understanding of category management principles, knowledge of commodity and other external factors impacting cost to support our category teams in cost and pricing negotiations.This role will also be critical in working with key stakeholders to scope, develop and implement end to end process and tools improvements to unlock value to stakeholders.Own and develop subject matter expertise on cost management and optimisationTake carriage for the management and governance of the cost adjustment framework, which is imperative to Grocery code complianceLead a team of analysts, with a strong focus on coaching and developmentLead the development and implementation of tools, technology insights and engagement model to support smart decision makingSupport a wide group of stakeholders across the Buying team and work alongside peer groups for shared business outcomesWhat you'll bringMinimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial, category management, pricing or data analytics role in a fast paced retail or FMCG environmentMinimum of 3 years' experience managing a team, with a strong focus on coaching and developmentStrategic mindset and ability to understand the business environment and be a thought partner to the Pricing and Customer Value leadership team in support of direction and priority settingAbility to build relationships, influence and empower stakeholders at all levels across the businessHigh proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets and MS Powerpoint / Google Slides, and ability to understand core data analytics principles and terminologyEveryone belongs at Woolworths GroupDiversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are key to realising our purpose of better together for a better tomorrow.
