The Opportunity This role is based in Brisbane at our Wacol Office.
Reporting to the National Manager – Product Support Mining Excavators, you will take ownership of building and maintaining internal and external customer relationships while delivering high-level technical and product support.
Responsibilities Demonstrating safety commitment and performing all work activities in a safe manner adhering to HCMO Safety Policies and Procedures Managing and supporting all technical issues within breakdown support, failure, and root cause analysis Accurately and effectively communicating with customers and delivering reliability of improvement projects Meeting and engaging professionally with various stakeholders to navigate through complex technical analysis Working collaboratively with the team in transferring knowledge and findings Reporting and maintenance of fleet performance Completing tasks autonomously and efficiently As The Ideal Candidate You Will Have: Relevant mechanical trade or engineering tertiary qualifications Significant experience in open cut mining, civil earthworks, or related industries in engineering, maintenance leadership, or technical/product support roles Proven technical understanding of key disciplines, such as mechanical/electrical systems; schematics, drawings & manual interpretation High level analytical and problem-solving skills to facilitate resolution of product and technical issues Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) with the ability to deliver information at a high level to a diverse range of internal and external customers High level of customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships through delivery of Hitachi Reliable Solutions Experience with Hitachi Mining Equipment Excavators will be highly regarded Benefits A competitive and rewarding salary package inclusive of Super & Company Biannual Bonuses Fully maintained company vehicle + personal laptop + work mobile Exclusive staff discounts on Medibank Health Cover and a range of other in-house products and services Real opportunities for personal development within a world-class, dynamic company A supportive management team which values your input in finding new and innovative ways of achieving success Be a key member and driving force in leading OEM which genuinely ensures everyone is happy and safe at work
