The Opportunity This role is based in Brisbane at our Wacol Office.
Reporting to the National Manager – Product Support Mining Excavators, you will take ownership for building and maintaining internal and external customer relationships, whilst delivering high-level technical & product support, which contributes to customer and our businesses success.
Responsibilities Demonstrating Safety commitment and performing all work activities in a safe manner adhering to HCMO Safety Policies and ProceduresManaging and supporting all technical issues within breakdown support, failure and root cause analysisAccurately and effectively communicating with customers and delivering accurately with reliability of improvement projectsMeeting and engaging professionally with various stakeholders to support finding and navigating through complex technical analysisWorking collaboratively with the team in transferring knowledge and findingsReporting and maintenance of fleet performanceCompleting tasks autonomously and efficientlyAs The Ideal Candidate You Will Have: Relevant mechanical trade or engineering tertiary qualificationsSignificant experience in open cut mining, civil earthworks or other related industries, either in engineering, maintenance leadership or technical/product support rolesProven technical understanding of key disciplines, such as mechanical/electrical systems; schematics, drawings & manual interpretationHigh level analytical and problem solving skills to facilitate resolution of product and technical issuesExcellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal) with the ability to effectively liaise and deliver information at a high level to diverse range internal and external customersHigh level of customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships through delivery of Hitachi Reliable SolutionsExperience with Hitachi Mining Equipment Excavators will be highly regardedBenefits A competitive and rewarding salary package inclusive of Super & Company Biannual BonusesFully maintained company vehicle + personal laptop + work mobileExclusive staff discounts on Medibank Health Cover and a range of other in-house products and servicesReal opportunities for personal development within a world class, dynamic companyA supportive management team which values your input in finding new and innovative ways of achieving successBe a key member and driving force in leading OEM which genuinely ensures everyone is happy and safe at workApplication Closes - Monday 16th December
